Repurchased Products: Clinique Even Better Foundation

Last week my all time favourite foundation sadly ran out, and seeing as it is the only one I have that matches my skin colour right now - due to the lack of sun, I wanted to pick up a new one. While I was waiting at the counter I started to think about how long I have been buying this foundation. I realised it has been that long that I can't actually remember when I first did!

As the name suggests Clinique Even Better evens out your skin tone, so is great for someone like me who has a few marks and some redness, but doesn't always want to wear something as heavy as a full coverage foundation. I find this to be a good all year product for me as it can give light coverage for summer months or good skin days but then can be applied a little heavier when needed. Even when using as a more full coverage foundation or maybe building it up for night after a day of wearing it, it still manages to look very natural.

The staying power of this product is excellent, as far as I know Clinique make no claims about how long it will last like some other brands do. But lets be honest, who wears their make up for longer than a normal day? I know I don't. So from my experience I can say that I apply it in the morning and it is still in place until I take it off at night. It is a very lightweight formula so is very comfortable to wear and never feels heavy or "cakey" on the skin. It also contains SPF 15 so gives a little protection from the sun which is always a good thing.

Clinique claim that this product contains treatment benefits that both immediately and over time leave you with brighter skin and a more even skin tone. Although I have been using it for quite some time I am not sure how much I can say on that, because I have put down most of my skin improvements to my skincare. But my skin does look better now than it did a few years ago so perhaps it has been helping along the way.

This foundation cost £23 so is more expensive than say high street or drug store alternatives but I would definitely say it is worth the money. If you are looking for a natural glowing finish foundation that stays in place all day and really helps covering discolouration on your face I would give this a try.

What is your favourite foundation?
