Lacking Motivation

At the start of the year one of the resolutions I made was to lose a little more weight and overall be healthier. Since then this year has had some ups and serious downs and I have lost all track of what I was supposed to be doing in regards to exercise. Over the past week or two I have tried really hard to get back into the swing of things but -annoyingly, its just not happening! I can't seem to find any motivation, in the fight between curling up on the couch or working out for an an hour or two...the couch always seems to win.

We don't have any vacation plans just now but even the thought of bikini's on the beach isn't doing it for me, and if there is a good reason that is it! What do you do when you are feeling very unmotivated? Any tips on how to get back into exercise?

  1. I feel the same at the moment! I always think of wearing my bikini and it keeps me motivated! Just think how amazing you will feel after a good work-out, it's not all about body image, you will feel great too

    1. That is very true, I try to keep thinking that I will feel so much better if I get back into things. I will get there! Hopefully lol.

  2. I know exactly what you mean...I also lack that vigor and eagerness to get out there and get fit. I've recently tried a mini trampoline in front of the tv...it works well.

  3. Aw I know how you feel. Being more active and living a healthier lifestyle was one of my goals this year too...
    Last month I started doing small workouts when I got home from work and I was doing so well, but the past few weeks, I just feel beat lol. I think if you start out by doing a little at a time, even just 10 min. of exercising, every day, you'l be able to make it a habit and keep at it! :D I know you can do it!

    1. Thanks Traci, I hope you get back into it too. Yeh starting off slow is best, I will just keep doing more little by little and hopefully that will help!
