Some Favourites from November

To say I am excited right now is definitely an understatement! It's here, its finally is now December! This means two things right now, one, it is time for some favourites and two, it is nearly Christmas!

This month my skin has not been behaving well at all, I have had a seriously bad breakout so I had to bring out big guns in terms of skincare. For the past week or so I have been using my La Roche-Posey Effaclar Duo and it has helped clear things up so much. I actually forgot I had it or I would have started using it sooner but the results in the last week have been outstanding! I have been applying it every morning and night after cleansing and I just can't say enough good things about this.

My skin has always been on the drier side and until recently I didn't realise it could also have been dehydrated. At the beginning of last month I started using Hydraluron which to put it simply, helps hydrate your skin more than your moisturiser can (you can read more in detail here). I didn't notice any difference at first but after a few weeks I can really see a change. My skin looks a great deal healthier and a lot less dry than it was before, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who also thinks they may have dehydrated skin. From the same brand as Hydraluron, Indeed Labs, I also started using their eye cream...they had a 3 for 2 offer on so I couldn't resist (who can?). I have been using it all month and I am enjoying it, to be honest I never notice too much of a difference with eye creams so it really comes down to which feel nice to apply. It isn't too thick or too thin and feels very nice under make-up.

Everything else I have been enjoying over the last month is Christmas related...

*The Christmas Market opened in Edinburgh.
*I have been planning "12 Days of Christmas" posts for this year again.
*Buying new decorations for my Christmas tree.
*Drinking FAR too many hazelnut hot chocolates!
*Planning Christmas DIY's (which I plan to share here)
*Buying Christmas gifts
*Planning a surprise night out for Paul this Saturday, his birthday is on Wednesday but sadly he has to work so yay for the weekend!

What have all you lovely people been enjoying in November?
