Hello Again

hello-again

Things have been a little quiet around here recently and in all honesty; I have no excuse for it.

I seem to have fallen off track with this whole blogging thing and taken a completely unintentional brake -its been almost two weeks!! I honestly have no idea how I've let this happen and I'd like to apologise to you all for the radio silence here and pretty much everywhere else. I haven't even looked at Instagram since my last post.

I didn't mean to stay away, but the longer I did, the harder it felt to come back; especially as I had no reason for my absence. I've tried to write this post a few times but each time I sat down to do so, the words just didn't come. I felt very much like I was back at school, as if I'd been doing something wrong or skipping class and was walking back into a room full of whispers and "oooohhs" from everyone else. However...that isn't the case here, and instead I should feel as if I'm coming back to catch up with old friends (which the more I sit and write this post is actually turning out to be the case) that I haven't seen in a little while. It's funny really, in the "real world" two weeks isn't a great deal of time in the grand scheme of things -but in this world, well it feels like forever.

I'm going to look at the last couple of weeks as a refresher, a brake to rest or recharge and come back with lots of new and hopefully interesting content for you. I actually have a list that I've been adding to over the last week or so, of so many ideas for posts that I can't wait to share with you soon. Plus! I'm really looking forward to sharing pictures from our recent trip to New York. While I feel bad for being away without any word as to why I am excited to be back and it's made me appreciate all of this a whole lot more -really have missed it. So, no more out of the blue absences and next up will be part one of our trip.

How have you been lately? Anything new and interesting in your life?

  1. Hope you had a great trip! I think a break is always a good idea, gives you time to refresh and recharge!
