New York: Part 1

The feeling of seeing New York for the first time was like nothing I could have ever imagined, and I'm sure no where else will ever come close. Stepping out on to the streets for the very first time and feeling the subway rumble beneath my feet, gave me the same kind of feeling I hadn't felt since I was little. The feeling you had on Christmas Eve when your tummy was full of butterflies and you felt as if wonderful things were about to happen -a feeling that's hard to replicate as an adult sometimes I think. Pure childlike wonder at it's very best.

I've been so incredibly excited to share some of our pictures, and I thought the best way to do it would be to split the trip up into more than one post; mainly because I'm pretty sure this post is already going to be really long! I hope you enjoy, parts 2 and 3 will be up soon.

  1. Love the description of how you felt (that's an amazing feeling to have), & I'm jealous of all the amazing food you had.
