Sephora Haul

I don't often do hauls, but I thought it was only right to share my excitement and little purchases from my first ever visit to Sephora. Everything beauty related that you could ever want, all under one roof -and the free wifi in store is just a huge bonus! I'm lucky that Paul enjoys shopping as much as I do, so I don't have to feel bad dragging him from store to store looking at eye shadows and blush. In fact, there's no one I'd rather spend time shopping with. Also, he is the worlds worst enabler, he will encourage you to spend all your money.

With it being our first visit to New York, we didn't actually do all that much shopping. Instead, we found ourselves spending as much time as possible exploring the city and seeing as much as we could in our limited time there. So I'm sure when we go back, there will be much more time spend browsing for products and the Sephora bag will be much heavier -but I was happy with my mini haul.

I haven't yet tried any of these products (except for the brush that we'll get to in a minute), they have in fact been sitting in their little striped bag since we returned home. Does anyone else enjoy leaving certain shopping bags sitting around for as long as possible? Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this! But now they've been photographed I'm sure I can put them away.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara. I love mascara, it's possibly my favourite beauty product off all. For me it's the one thing that makes the biggest difference to my face, it opens my eyes and I feel as if I look much more awake. I've heard rave reviews about this mascara since it first hit the market so I'm excited to give it a try.

Sephora Pro Liquid Foundation Brush #63. I spotted this brush while having a look at huge collection of bushes in store. I didn't have a foundation brush like this so thought I'd give it a try. This is the only thing so far that I've used since returning home, my other brushes and sponge applicator have been almost forgotten. It applies foundation beautifully. My skin looks smooth and natural and the edges on the brush make it perfect for blending make up around your nose.

Kat Von D Ink Liner. I've heard so much about the Tattoo Liner, and before going in to store had decided I was going to pick one up. However, after looking at them both and realising that the Tattoo Liner had a brush tip (albeit still a fine point) and the Ink liner had a felt tip, I decided to go with the latter. I'm hoping I made the right choice, have you tried either?

Boscia Masks. We had the absolute best week weather wise, we got so lucky for the whole trip. It was so hot and sunny, with clear blue skies and even with the one overcast day it was still just as warm. Because of the travelling and the heat, I wanted to pick up a hydrating mask to use -which I ended up completely forgetting to use while we were there; oh well. I spotted the Boscia ones on our way to the till and since I do love a sheet mask I thought I'd give them a try. I got the Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration Hydrogel Mask, and the Sake Brightening Hydrogel Mask. They're both two part sheet masks, ensuring you look excellent while using them. Tell me -how do you pronounce Boscia?

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer. Having had everyone tell me about the dreaded isle at the tills, and how you couldn't make it through without getting sucked in by all the minis -I assumed I'd come out with handfuls. But no, just one. I would like to point out first of all though, that they have the most amazing minis you'll ever see. Minis you would never have thought existed. But yes, I got through with only one miniature purchase, it was an eye primer, and this was purely because I needed one. The Urban Decay primers are by far my favourite and the mini size is actually more than enough as they last for such a long time.

So there you have it, not a huge amount but I'm sure that wont be the case in the future. Until we meet again Sephora.

Have you tried any of these products?
